Hometown Sports Gear, a family-owned business opening in Gardner, Kansas in spring 2025, aims to offer local families personalized sports equipment and expert advice for student athletes.

The Ask


The client wanted to develop a brand that focused on fostering community around sport. Nothing overly competitive as to emphasize values like the joy of movement and a sense of duty to the greater good.

In our initial meeting, the client emphasized the importance of visualizing 3 key words: joy, movement, & community.
